We had a later Sunday start and such a full group that the last pairing couldn't
finish the 18th hole. The weather wasn't bad but it did get cold late in the day.
It was the day after the time change so a late start and an extra hour should
have meant well for many players. That wasn't always the case as many hadn't
played this one year old course before.
Two that did especially well were Joe Pineda, Jr. and Max Rodriguez. Both shot
one under par - scratch! We played a blind draw format so those that got
paired up best by the computer took home the prizes. The top scores were
consistent, with 59/60 determining the top two scores in each of the three
flights. Unfortunately, we lost the complete computer results but (thanks to the
power of the pen) we do have all of the winners documented on the final sheet
as read to those that stayed for the results:
