Results: Monterey Getaway, Sept. 1-2
Pictures can't capture how nice this busy weekend was in Monterey. So we won't show any
on this site. Suffice it to say that Monterey was the place to be when the Bay Area was
scorched by hot weather. The First Tee was happening down the road but some good golf
was also being played by your members at Poppy Hills and Laguna Seca. The weather
was just spectacular with sunny skies and the lightest of breezes. We play normal stroke
golf then pair teams randomly each day for prizes. Hopefully you played well and/or your
partner complimented you. Those scores below reflect the blind-draw pairings and
standings at the end each day. They seem to be well balanced as only one person
finished in the top three each day.
