Results: Poppy Hills, March 22, 2008
Spec-ta-cu-lar! The conditions for the course and the weather were everything
you could hope for in Monterey for March. Poppy filled up early and those that
secured their spots were treated to a wonderful day of golf. As proof, just look
at how 6 teams finished at better than 9 strokes under on this very challenging
course. There were the unavoidable echos of wayward balls knocking through
the forest. But many teams had the right combination of best ball scores to
overcome the hazards. None better than Sam Moros and Wayne Flora who
combined for 3 shots short of a birdie every hole!
