Saturday turned out to be one windy day. That may have slowed some teams
down but not as much as we had to wait after the event for ever-popular
raffle. Given the wait the club shared with those playing behind the club, we
have made a decision to apply a 2 stroke penalty to each player in a group
that turns in their scorecard 20-minutes after the previous group. We hate to
do this but we should be able to keep up with the carts we always have at
away events.
Cruising along in the second group Joe, Michael, Matt and Frank got in early
and posted a fine score of 123 in the Cha-Cha-Cha. Hopefully, everyone had a
good time playing from different tees and counting on a different number of
players each hole.
