What a Shamble!!! We played this new format to very favorable reviews. And,
one group really excelled under the format. Shooting a not to chabotty 46
under was the team of Joe, Howard, Dave and Mickey. We played a scramble
for the first shot, then everyone played out the hole. Full handicaps were used
and the top two scores per hole posted. Everyone seemed to enjoy having a
safer shot off the tee and ya gotta love a par 6 to finish. Some went six under
on that hole alone. Plus there was one team with a net 0 for both scores on a
par three. The handicapping for this format will be monitored and adjusted as
necessary. Kudos to Terry G for taking 16 holes of good natured ribbing. We
won't say why. All-in-all a great day and a good raffle!
