Results: Los Lagos, October 25, 2009
The fog hugged the turf just below the treetops greeting the earliest group
arrivals. But, as if on queue, it parted with the first teams' hits and we saw yet
another fabulous day at Los Lagos. This time we played a Cha-cha-cha. Teams
of 4 hit from the blue, white, and red tees alternating in order as they made
their way around the course. From the blue holes, one score was used. Two
from the white holes and three from the red. So, a total of 36 scores were
taken from each team on the day.
The B flight saw some pretty low nets but both flights had teams with multiple
net eagles on the same hole. But that wasn't a guarantee of success as the
biggest scroe in the A flight group had two net eagles on 18 and still figure 13
strokesoff the pace. It's all about the 18-hole dance with the Cha-cha-cha.
