To some it was like a wild ride at the front of a roller coaster. To others, the
wind was simply cold and relentless. To most it was some of the strongest
wind they'd ever played in. Three, even four club gust that made club choices a
puzzle. Two equal shots could be 20 yards apart depending on how hard the
wind was in your face at the time of impact.
But, it wasn't too cold and despite late tee times and a half hour delay from the
group in front of us it was (kinda) entertaining to play like this once in a great
while. Also, playing as two-person teams made the occasional crazy shot
easier to take. And, of course, there was the raffle!
