Results: Fremont Park, Sat. November 11
Well, we didn't get rained out but the weather did keep us from having a full
tournament. It rained hard the night before and lightly through the early
morning. So those that chose to remain at home after getting word over the
phone could bow out without obligation.
Still, some hearty souls did continue and a pretty nice day followed. In fact,
after some drizzly rain on the first one-two holes, the day turned out quite
nice. Those that continued were greeted with a course that showed no signs
of sloppy play...at least you couldn't blame your lie. The traps were in great
shape and the greens were easy to read from the trail of the previous putts
through latent water drops.
It was a really comfortable stroll around the course as few others showed up
that morning to play. We carried on as three and four player scramble teams.
