What a fabulous day! I mean, REALLY! After a dreary cold stretch of rain and
low temps the first great weekend of the year made everyone's stroll around
the course a nice one. And the scores seemed to echo that. Just look at the
parity in the A Flight, 9 groups within 4 strokes. We played as scramble teams
with some very tricky pin placements by the course. Men played from the blue
and black tees. The only other rule was that two drives were needed from
each player. Let's hope Manteca was an abortion and Saturday a trend.
