In the spirit of the Olympic games, the proud golfers at our latest home event
took on the course in a scramble format - alone! It wasn't the world stage but
it felt like it to some who had to take the responsibilities of an entire team on
their shoulders. That's right it was the 1-Person Scramble, a new attempt at
fun and harmony in our own little world of sport.
Two mulligans on each hole, maximum score of bogie, improved lies, no testing
for steroids...you would think the scores would be record breakers, but this is
still Fremont Park. The rule of the day was strategy and 4 players did maximize
the opportunities in reaching double digits under par.
