Arguably the most important tournament of the year - because it feeds so
many mouths. The Turkey Shoot saw half the field taking home a Safeway gift
certificate that should come in handy for that Turkey, Tofu, Taco
Salad...whatever the winner wants for that holiday meal. The rain threatened
and even sprinkled on the putting contest at the end but stayed away through
tournament play. We tried a new format where two entire 4-person scramble
teams played head-to-head on each hole to determine which group earned the
coveted holiday helper. In the raffle after, Ron Utley won the grand prize...his
cell phone, thought lost on the course. Winning teams in Green:
