It was head-to-head, hole-to-hole competition, or should we say 4 heads-to-4
heads. We went with straight up groups of 4 playing scramble in match play
format. No mystery, your competition was playing with you and hopefully the
scramble format kept it fun. How do we handicap scramble teams? We use this
recommended NCGA formula: 50% of the low handicapper in the group, plus
the remaining three's handicaps are divided by 12. This usually yeilds some
very comparative scores.
