Another Turkey Shoot is in the books. This time we did three-person groups in
head-to head competition for the right to claim cash towards a turkey dinner - or
whatever. The two groups facing each other played the same hole around the
course in a scramble format. Weather that threatened to make a sloppy day
never materialized as clouds gave way to a pretty darn nice day. Carts were OK
on the course and the greens rolled as true as usual. Groups were paired as
close to handicaps as possible and there ended up being many close matches.
One changed 2 strokes on the last hole for in a come from behind win.
